It’s a choice no one should have to make – pay rent and buy food or get prescriptions filled. Yet all too often it is a choice Whiteside County residents have to make. Many have no health insurance, and even more have limited coverage. Many Americans just can’t afford health care, and, if they can, they don’t have the money to buy their medicines.
United Way of Whiteside County runs a Pharmacy Assistance program to help cover the expense of prescription medication.
- Assistance is available once every 90 days for up to $50
- Medicine must be purchased at CVS Pharmacy
- Available to Whiteside County residents only
- Current ID needed
- Forms must be filled out at the United Way office, 815-625-7973
